Ilan Yaunshavski joined DFJ Tamir Fishman Ventures in 2008 when he was appointed to the position of the Tamir Fishman group’s Vice President of Finance. In this role, he is also responsible for the financial operations of the group’s companies, including its equity-basis investees. Besides serving as the CFO of DFJ Tamir Fishman Ventures- he is also the CEO of Tamir Hon which is the public entity of Tamir Fishman Ventures II.
Before joining DFJ Tamir Fishman Ventures, Ilan served in a series of senior positions at Nortel, including CFO and finance director for the company’s operations in Israel and the South Eastern Europe region. In this position, he served as CFO of a joint venture in Serbia and was responsible for financial management of various ventures in Eastern Europe and of large-scale projects in the Israeli market.
Previously, Ilan served as team manager at the Capital Market Audit Division at Bank Leumi and at the subsidiaries of the bank that operated in the capital market at the time – provident funds, mutual funds, portfolio-management companies, etc.
Ilan is a certified public accountant and holds a master’s degree in business administration, specializing in financing and accounting.
